Terms of Use

1. Parties to this agreement

These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Clav Tides ("we", "us", "our"), a Rhode Island-based research-chemical supplier and the operator of the website at clavtides.com (the "Site"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or order from us.

2. Research-only condition of sale

Every order placed through clavtides.com is sold under the express condition that the material is acquired for laboratory research and not for human or veterinary use. By placing an order you:

• Confirm you are at least 18 years old.
• Confirm the material is for research purposes only.
• Agree not to use, resell, repackage, or supply the material to any person or facility for human consumption, self-administration, clinical use, or as a therapeutic.
• Acknowledge that nothing on the Site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.

Use of the material outside the research-only framework is your sole responsibility. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order we believe is being placed for off-label or non-research use.

3. Product information accuracy

We work to keep product names, descriptions, molecular details, and pricing accurate, but typographical errors and out-of-stock conditions occasionally occur. If a listed price is materially incorrect (e.g. a missing zero or decimal), we may cancel the affected order before fulfillment with a full refund. Specifications, batch availability, and pack sizes can change without notice.

4. Ordering, pricing, and payment

• All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes or import duties.
• Payment is captured at checkout via our PCI-compliant card processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• An order is accepted only when we send a written confirmation. Adding an item to a cart, completing checkout, or receiving an automated receipt is not, by itself, acceptance.
• We may decline or cancel any order before shipment at our discretion, including for suspected fraud or for orders that don't meet the research-only condition above. Cancelled orders are refunded.

5. Shipping

We ship to the address provided at checkout via tracked U.S. carriers. Domestic orders typically process within one business day and arrive within 2–5 business days. International shipping is available where lawful; you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs delays at the destination. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Lost, undelivered, or damaged shipments are addressed under Section 6.

6. Returns, claims, and refunds

Because every product on this site is a temperature-sensitive lyophilized research chemical, our return policy is necessarily restrictive:

• Damaged on arrival, wrong item, missing item, or lost in transit: eligible for replacement or refund when reported within 7 days of delivery, with photo evidence for damage/missing-item claims and tracking detail for lost-shipment claims.
• Opened, broken-seal, or reconstituted vials: not returnable. Once a vial leaves our facility and the seal is broken, we cannot verify storage conditions and cannot resell the product as research-grade.
• Buyer-remorse / changed your mind: not accepted on research chemicals.
• Refused, undeliverable, or customs-returned shipments: refunded for product cost only; original shipping is not refunded and a return-shipping fee may apply.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The material is sold as a research chemical, "as is." We make no representation that the material is fit for any therapeutic, diagnostic, or commercial use beyond laboratory research. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS POLICY IN SECTION 6 ABOVE, we disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties — those exclusions may not apply to you.

8. Site content and intellectual property

The Site's text, layout, graphics, photos, logos, and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, republish, scrape, or use the content for a competing service without our written permission. "Clav Tides" and the Clav Tides marks are our common-law trademarks.

Educational content on the Site (research summaries, mechanism overviews, study citations) is provided for general information. It is not a substitute for primary literature, professional research advice, or medical advice.

9. No relationship with public figures

Clav Tides is an independent supplier. References on the Site to public figures, influencers, or their published protocols are for informational purposes only — they reflect publicly available information and do not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or partnership. Any third-party trademark mentions are nominative fair use.

10. Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site or our products in violation of any applicable U.S. federal or state law, or any law of your jurisdiction.
• Submit false information at checkout, including a fake shipping address or false age.
• Place orders to resell to consumers for human consumption.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Site or its underlying infrastructure.
• Impersonate another person or use the Site in any deceptive manner.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: our total liability arising from or relating to any order placed through the Site is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or the material. We are not liable for misuse of the material outside the research-only framework set out in these Terms.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us, our officers, employees, and agents harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the material, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms, your use of the Site, or any order placed through it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Providence County, Rhode Island, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or placement of new orders after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
